CAMBODIA WINS MEN’S GLOBE WORLD CUP IN SCOTLAND

Cambodia has lifted the 2016 Men’s Globe with an 8–2 win over Sweden this morning.

Minea Chan grabbed four goals as Cambodia ran out winners in their final match of the 2016 Homeless World Cup.

It was Sweden who opened the scoring, with their number 10 slotting in to the bottom corner.

Cambodia captain and one of the youngest players at the tournament, Chan equalised before Ramallah Man added a quick-fire second.

The Swedes got themselves level through their number 6, with Chan adding his second and Cambodia’s third of the match.

It was a frantic start to the second final of the day on Pitch 1; but Cambodia settled into their rhythm and added two before the break.

Sweden’s goalkeeper had to be alert to Cambodia’s quick counterattacks, stopping shots from Narat Roeng and Long Sophearith.

With the home crowd behind them, Cambodia went on to score a further three as they lifted the Men’s Globe.
